From 25 to 30 August 2025 we hosted the final of the sixth Airbus Sloshing Rocket Workshop at the aeronautical technical institute in Forlì. Thirty students in five teams came from Greece, Turkey, Spain and Romania.
Preparation started months earlier. The board contacted more than fifty companies (not all of them replied), designed the merchandise and promotional material, and organised a company fair to bring students, local businesses and institutions together.
The first couple of days were hard for organisers and teams alike: some of the materials were wrong and there were a few misunderstandings. After that things settled down. The winners were DeltaV Dynamics, from Greece.
Alongside the competition we held an aerospace forum, where companies, university researchers and local and regional institutions talked about the sector and the opportunities in it.
