Working groups
Run the association with us.
Behind every visit, talk and competition there is a working group. They are open to every member, whatever you study.
How it works
- Pick one or more. Tick the groups you are curious about when you sign up, or send a request at any time, even if you joined years ago.
- Learn on the job. Each group has a team leader, and members who have done it before show you how things work.
- Give the time you can. There’s no minimum. We only ask you to keep the team posted, including when you can’t make it.
- Take it with you. Organising events, managing a budget or running the communication of an international aerospace association is real experience, and it counts on a CV.

PR
PR looks after the people we work with: the companies we visit, our sponsors and partners, the University of Bologna and the other EUROAVIA local groups. It means writing to companies, following up and being there when they come to meet us. A good fit for anyone who likes talking to people and building a network, whatever they study.

Design
The Design group makes everything people see: posters and social media graphics, the T-shirts and other merch, slides for talks and the visual side of the events we host. You don't need to be a designer by trade, just keen to learn the tools and to work with the rest of the board on what each event needs.

Communication
Communication tells people what we do: posts and stories on Instagram and LinkedIn, write-ups after each event, and the messages that keep members informed. If you like writing, taking photos or keeping a feed alive, this is the place to start.

IT
IT builds and maintains this website, the membership form and the other online tools the association uses. You don't need to be a programmer already: there is plenty to learn, from updating content to writing code.

Technical team
AirOne
AirOne is our technical team. It designs, builds and flies a radio-controlled cargo aircraft for the Air Cargo Challenge, the EUROAVIA competition for student-built aircraft. The team entered for the first time in July 2026, in Stuttgart, as Team 22. Besides the engineering, there is work on the budget, the technical report and the communication.
